Here can everyone post their inspiration for characters.

Like what kind of race it will be?
Will it be a werewolf? Or maybe a vampire?

I've made a list with some interesting races, if you think I forgot one, just post it :D Also look up the latest link, it's very helpful!

Nymph: A nymph just looks like a human being, they live in groups, and have their own speciality. You have water nymphs, wood nymphs and many more.

Mermaid: A mermaid is a aquatic creature, created of half human, half wateranimal (fish, dolphin). They have the head till waist from a human, but no feet, instead of legs and feet they have a tail.

Werewolf: is a human which turn in to wolves when there is a full moon. You can become a werewolf when you are bitten by a werewolf or when you have been put under a curse.

Vampire: is a human which feeds itself with blood from the living. They bite innocent people in their neck. When you are bitten by a vampire, you can turn in to one too.

Did you know, that originally vampires didn't drink blood at all? ^^
According to the original myth is a creature that lives on other people life force, thus making the area where he lives all ugly and old. So, he doesn't need to bite anyone or drink blood to stay alive, just be around people. Also, people couldn't become vampires trough biting but by eating infected crops or something. The bloodsucking vampire is just a westernized image :p

But, because bloodsucking vampires are way too sexy, I'm going to ignore all that XD

The really westernized vampire is the male vampire who only sucks blood from young, female virgins. Well, there are much more races of course, but you did a great job Hilde Sometimes we just need this information to create a perfect character.

There are also elfs, fairies, goblins, trolls, witches, satyrs, gorgons (Medusa for example), sirens and so on.. ^-^

No believe me, the whole blood sucking thing isn't in the original myth :P
I have a friend who studies vampirism...... XD (no kidding, she seriously does!)

She studies vampirism? Sounds good, but I don't know if it's usefull for her carreer?

well.. it's not only about vampires XD just one of her classes.. I don't know what exactly she does, but it sounds so awesome!

And talking about carreers XD I don't know how studying japanese will be usefull for my carreer then either :')
