Conquest of Elegance - Forum

Hi everybody!

My name is Paulien and today I decided that I want to be member of the conquestofelegance-forum again! I used to have a website - voices.nl.tt, I don't know if you all remember me? - but I closed this website because I was spending too much time on the site and I didn't like it that much anymore because my "real life" was very good at that period

My "real life" is still very good and interesting and I think I will never start a website again, but I liked this forum a lot when it started about 1,5 years ago or something, so I really want to stay in touch with the people by using this brilliant forum

It's only disappointing that it's english now. My english is ok, but it makes this forum a little bit impersonal, I personally think. I think I will be more active in the Dutch parts of this forum.

I hope I will find a lot of the same people here who where also member of the forum when it started 1,5 years ago because I really missed those nice conversations and creative stuff of all of you!

For the people who really don't know me, a very short part about me:
As earlier said, my name is Paulien, I'm a Dutch girl of 17 years old. I have two sisters, a [/b]dog called Lola, I'm in 5 VWO right now and hyperactively looking for the perfect university for me

Toen ik me gister ingeschreven had, ging ik even rondkijken en ik zag idd dat het nogal dood was Jammer!
Misschien moet Marlou toch maar iets veranderen?
Vorige keer was het forum zo ontzettend populair & actief! Hoe kan het dat dat nu niet het geval is? Misschien toch door dat engels ofzo?
Want wat is er nog meer veranderd?
Als ik Marlou was zou ik het uitzoeken en het veranderen want het forum van vroeger was zo leuk Maargoed, ik blijf lid en ik zie wel of het ooit gaat veranderen

Maybe it's unactive cuz of the lack of members? A lot of people left after conquestofelegance went on hiatus :p

i think if more people join after a while it'll be just as active as before, maybe some more promoting? a lot of people probably don't even know the forum is back ^^'

Probably the forum is not as active as it used to be because of not enough ACTIVE members
So there are enough members but they are not that active!
And they aren't active (maybe) because of the fact that the forum is English now

Promoting is probably also a cause
But I still think it'll be better if the forum is dutch again
How many of the members are non-dutch?
Probably 2 or something?'
I think that making the forum Dutch will only make the forum more personal, active and popular

But it's up to Marlou to change something
I hope she will

Ik ben echt blij dat je lid bent geworden! Ik was al bang dat je het GB van voices niet meer zou lezen. Welkom terug <3

Inderdaad, het forum is op het moment nogal dood :<
De grootste reden is denk ik dat mijn website op zich op het moment vrij inactief is.
Ik ben namelijk super druk geweest met school & stage, een maak nu nog steeds fulltime werkdagen.. Overdag dus totaal geen tijd voor m'n site en de afgelopen weken/maanden in mijn vrije tijd alleen maar school >.< Maargoed, inmiddels heb ik 's avonds weer tijd voor mijn site en wil ik graag een nieuwe layout maken + wordpress installeren. Als dat gebeurd is kan ik weer content toevoegen aan m'n site, en heeft de site weer wat om bezoekers te trekken.
Ik denk namelijk dat het bezoekersaantal van de main site best wel te maken heeft met die van het forum.

Misschien dat het feit dat het nu Engels is sommige oud-leden er wel van weerhoud terug te komen, dat weet ik niet.
Wat ik wel weet is dat veel oud-leden die Nederlands zijn, wel lid worden en best wel actief hebben gepost in het Engelse gedeelte. Ook wel leden die van zich zelf zeggen dat ze niet goed in Engels zijn, doen erg goed hun best

Voorlopig laat ik het forum Engels, maar zodra er weer meer bezoekers zijn zal ik wat polls erover houden en kijken wat de beste keus is.

Eerst maar eens op naar een nieuwe layout

Ik heb er absoluut geen problemen mee dat het forum in het engels is, ik heb het gewoon superdruk XD

Ik weet niet in hoevere het behulpzaam is, maar conquestofelegance wordt wel gelinkt vanaf de comyvz-crew website als we eindelijk eens een keer online gaan -_-;

En als ik eindelijk eens een keer php leer lol xD
